The verbiage in your home insurance contract is very clear.
Motorized vehicles, regardless of whether they’re intended for road use, are not covered for damage or loss under the policy.
More importantly, liability does not extend to them. That’s right, if you’re out riding around and hit another rider or hiker, you’re going to have to pay for all of that person’s injuries, time out of work, permanent disability, etc. out of your pocket.
